The advertisement that I responded to of hers was very clear cut. She states specific qualities she is looking for in people. If, in fact, she has come across as "rude, abrasive or supercilious" it is because those that have decided to respond to her either simply did not read well enough or automatically assumed that they possessed the qualities that are specified.

You get what you give. Those that come through her door (of which I have seen many applicants in my time working for her) may not necessarily be well received because they cannot adequately assess themselves as individuals and that is what Marin needs and expects out of people. Her brutal honesty is refreshing and those who have chosen to perceive the truth as anything else are clearly not worth the time of a woman such as Marin.

My time with her has been invaluable. The profound impact she has made upon my life has been unfathomable. She has been instrumental in helping me grow mentally, emotionally and spiritually as an individual.

Those of us who are fortunate enough to have her in our lives know her for the beautiful person that she is and are more than proud to call her a mentor and friend.
