With all things considered...and the main thing being this..
We live in a capitalist society and capitalism is world wide hence the name of the game is MONEY..Business struck it big when they discovered how the African American woman would go through great lengths to "improve" their appearance they could not ignore the profit that would be gained... who gives a good _ _ about hair being "religiously" sacrificed and shipped and soled to be sported in another country by those who could not care less where it came from.. all they presume is "they look good with their good hair" and its soo bad that they don't seem to care that their relationships with their male counterparts are being compromised because they (African American women) don't want "their" good hair messed up.
That being coupled with human vanity and the plight of the African American is obviously an insanity that has evolved and will not readily go away.
What a tangled weavey weave we've weave if first we practice to deceive.

one that is afffected by the image in the mirror vs. the images that infect the affected and keep us sick and broke w/o $ but keeps the world of capitalism going round and round.
