The established budgetary cut triggers are indicative of the malevolence of the disenfranchisement of the lesser of these in the state o California. This malevolence is a continuation of the dehumanization of the bottom dregs of society which was started in Ronnie “RayGun” Reagan gubernatorial administration. I was amazed in 1991, when I moved to the state of California when I learned that those with mental illnesses and diminished capacity are treated as criminals in this state.

But, let us not be unduly fair and dump only on former President Reagan. There have been many administrations that worked well with the opposite party controlling the legislature since Ronnie was Governor. And yet, this condition not only still exists but the situation has exacerbated. Most of the religious books, I have read, state that the Creator of the Universe looks upon the worth of a society as to how they treat the least of these. In this case, California is found extremely wanting on this account.

Maybe it time for a major Katrina event in California to get peoples attention. Too much state monies are paid to employees especially prison guards. Liberals scream for mandatory universal health coverage while not considering that most Californians can afford any of the plans put forth. Most of the elected officials in the state would rather spend $65,000 plus on incarnating prisons instead of educating children. The price is over $65,000 when you consider healthcare costs. Other crazy liberals would release sick prisoners from prison, not realizing that these people have no safety net as most have less than a 9th grade education and have no clue as how to migrate the myriad of societal paths.

Finally, when a friend, the Assembly member representing the 16th district voted against the budget because of these cuts in care for the elderly and ambulatory caregivers; he was stripped of a choice committee chairmanship. The uproar was not the stripping of his chairmanship. The thing that should really anger people was that fact that several of his fellow Democrats in “weaker” districts ripped him for voting his and the district’s convictions instead of following the party line. If those clowns in the weaker districts would vote their convictions instead of a stupid party line there would be more effective government in the state.

It is time to throw these “welfare queens” out of the state legislature and make them find legitimate work. Too many politicians want to be continually reelected to higher office but they have no real convictions. Time to cut their saleries.
