Good move but it's hard - well not too hard - to understand all those who are whining about his not really deserving it. If the committee wanted to give it to him for the change in the global political environment he has brought with his charisma and words.

He has brought hope that any child, any place in the world has a chance, now to lead his or her nation - that's a pretty big accomplishment!

Great write up. Seems like Au pair programs were more about labor trafficking but also illustrates how complex the situation gets - because young people in the Philippines, Bangladesh, Indonesia and other countries need jobs and their families back home need the extra cash.

Same reason so many come to US without papers.

On 40th anniversary of walking on moon, it may be time to remember that from the moon, you cannot see any political, ethnic, or religious borders on earth - grin.
