pen power
There is 'power' in the written, and spoken text. Writers' shouldn't become discouraged when their thoughts/ideas are not immediately accepted. The important aspect of being a 'wordsworth' is to keep at it.

You are to be commended for what you've done and are doing for other women. Even here in Canada we still have 'the old boys' mentally with some issues, but thankfully nothing that equals what you suffered.
God be with you in all you do.

This authors comments are so right; sadly today society as a whole too often sterotypes peoples into being one kind of ethnic group-which is unjust and unfair.
People of different faiths and ethnic groups can/are able to live together peacefully; as it has been proven. here's a thought-perhaps governments and those in authority do not want us to get along with one another; they prefer to see conflict?

I commend you both on the outstanding, humanitarian work you're doing in your country. We women do have an ability to see what is really needed to bring about positive social changes.
Good luck with your work, and God be with you.
sincerely,

Your article is excellent, and I totally agree with your suggestions on how this dire problem might be resolved. It is a sad state of affairs when money has more value than human life; which is the case today in too many countries.
However, I do believe if more people who care about their fellow men became vocal and active in their concerns this would do a lot to speed up change. Vox populi, vox Dei.

Hello Mailin:
It is sad to see your beautiful country being descimated by Mugabe. You've had the elections, and he, from what the world has gathered-lost, and yet he still wants to 'hang on'to his position. Personally, I feel the United nations, or the African countries should step in and oust him out. He, and his cronies, have runied your country.
Take heart that there are a lot of people who do care, and want to see your country thriving once again.
